Named after Kate Horony, otherwise known as Big Nose Kate. She was a brothel owner and prostitute back in the Wild West days, she was well educated but also incredibly  independent, fearless, and tough as nails like most women had to be back then. While she is best known for bein' Doc Hollidays common law wife, she paved a life of her own and was the standing definition of a brassy woman.
